HOW TO REQUEST A TRANSCRIPT
There are three primary ways to request a transcript – in person, through the mail, or via fax. We cannot accept requests via e-mail or over the phone. Either mail, stop by, or fax 740.266.2991 with the following information in a letter or on a transcript request form.
Transcripts at a cost of $10 each can be ordered by:
Mail: Send $10 payment and a letter of request to Eastern Gateway Community College, Jefferson County Campus, Student Information Center, 4000 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, OH 43952. The request is processed in two to three business days.
FAX: Send fax request with credit card information to 740.266.2991. Request is processed in two to three business days.
IN PERSON: Order and pay fee at Eastern Gateway's Student Information Center. Transcripts can be picked up in 48 business hours or mailed in two to three business days.
ALL REQUESTS MUST INCLUDE: Full, handwritten signature, Social Security number, current home address, daytime phone number, former names, and full address of where the transcript is to be mailed. A fee of $10 must be included with your request. Checks should be made out to Eastern Gateway Community College. If faxing your request, you may include credit card information for billing of the $10 or you may call the Student Information Center at 740-264-5591 x130 to give the clerk your credit card information. WAIT to call Student Information until after you have faxed your request.

NOTE: No one can order transcripts for you unless they have a signed permission slip from you to do so. Transcripts CANNOT be processed if there are any types of holds on your account (financial, library, etc.)
