FAFSA Priority Processing & Verification Deadlines

This table outlines the dates that students should have their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and verification completed for the year.

Students who don’t have their FAFSA and verification completed by the dates may still apply for financial aid. In this case, student may not have their aid available to assist in paying their tuition and fees, as well as have money available to purchase required books and supplies. In these cases, students may enroll in the Tuition Payment Plan administered by Sallie Mae. This allows students to maintain enrolment until their financial aid file is complete. A student is still responsible for purchasing books by out of pocket until their financial aid is complete.

Direct Loan Application Deadlines

This table outlines the deadlines for students to submit their EGCC Loan Request Form and/or EGCC Direct Loan Change Request Form for each semester. EGCC does not auto package student loans based on a student’s response to the loan interest question on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students must complete the required steps outlined on the Direct Loan Request Form for the loan to be processed.
