Admissions Checklist
- Complete and submit an Application for Admission.
- If you are seeking financial aid assistance, fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) as soon as possible. Click here for more Financial Aid information. - Have one of the following sent directly to EGCC from the granting institution as proof of high school graduation or equivalency (NOTE: You will not be eligible for financial aid until one of the following is received.) :
High school transcript annotating official graduation date
GED transcript from testing agency
Certificate of completion of an approved home school program signed by the program principal
Academic transcript showing successful completion of at a least a
two-year program (60 semester hours) that is acceptable for full
credit towards a bachelor degree - Submit ACT/ SAT scores, take the COMPASS placement test, or provide proof of successful completion of math and english courses equivalent to those offered at EGCC.
- College students or graduates who wish to transfer college credits must provide official college transcripts and submit a Transcript Evaluation Request Form
to the Transfer Coordinator, Johnna Provenzano. Transcript evaluations will be conducted only after receipt of all transcripts and the evaluation request form. The process may take up to three weeks depending upon total volume, and therefore, it is recommended students wishing to transfer credit to apply toward a certificate or degree program should submit requirements at minimum four weeks prior to their intended registration. - Meet with your Admissions Advisor to review your test scores and academic program, and to get any questions you may have answered.
- Once New Student Registration begins, you must RSVP for a Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) session. This is a mandatory three hour session for all first time EGCC students. You must attend this session to activate your student accounts and register for classes.
