Eastern Gateway's Library Services

Online library services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the use of all library patrons. These services include a catalog of the local collection, borrowing from OhioLINK, and full-text retrieval of thousands of periodical articles. Library materials are circulated to persons possessing a current, valid, unexpired library barcode.

OhioLINK drops are located at the Jefferson County Campus library, Valley Center in Youngstown, and Trumbull Career and Technical Center in Warren.

OhioLINK is a statewide computer network that provides free access to the library collections of all state-related colleges and universities. OhioLINK also provides access to over 100 online research databases. Its services provide access to the same resources for the community college student as those enjoyed by students at the largest state institutions.

Students attending EGCC are required to receive OhioLINK training in all English 101 classes. Students without training are welcome to use the library, but should be sure to ask for help from library staff if they need it. Either contact the library at libhelp@egcc.edu or phone 740.264.5591 x.153. You may expect a response usually within one business day.
